FLY CONTROL

The reasons for fly control is that by their nature, flies breed and feed in unsanitary conditions where larvae feed on decaying matter.  The female flies choose suitable areas of rotting vegetation and decaying animal matter in which to lay their eggs. Adults emerge from the pupae in these unsavory sites and in the process become contaminated with disease causing agents. Often they then move on to area to look for food, which are often the areas where our food is processed, prepared or even eaten.

Four of the diseases caused are Klebsiella , Campylobacter , Streptococci and Chlamydia.

To prevent the spread of these diseases it is imperative that flies are kept well away from food production areas.
